The Daylight...It Burns!

After years of doing the same old comic art, those paintings I did a few months ago got me thinking I could really make it work. I thought "What better way to test out my skills than trying to make some updated artwork for my favorite game, League of Legends."

I decided finally on my favorite Terror of the Void, Cho'Gath, as his classic artwork is one of the oldest in the game, and sadly...not very flattering of the champion, in my opinion. I first had to find some turn-arounds of the in-game model, as the splash barely shows much of him at all (Reference of it here: [link] ) Made a few rough sketches before I got one I liked. 15+ hours in Photoshop later, here we are!

I learned a heck of a lot working on this (Chiefest of all being remember to expand the sketch to full resolution before you paint, apologies for the low rez finish here.) but I'm really happy with the end results, and I can't wait to start the next one. Hopefully you guys agree, and I can promise it'll only get better from here!
